Our practice specializes in diseases and surgery of the skin, hair and nails.  All of our practitioners have expertise in various cosmetic and laser procedures, such as Botox, Restylane, and Perlane injections, as well as laser removal of blood vessels, brown spots, acne scars, wrinkles and hair.

Skin cancer screening is of paramount importance, and we emphasize the daily use of sunscreen in educating our patients about their dermatologic conditions, and how they may relate to their other medical conditions.

Lawrence A. Strong, DO, FAOCD - Board Certified Dermatologist

Dr. Strong received his B.A. degree from Washington and Jefferson College in 1990, graduated medical school from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1994, and completed his Dermatology residency at Nova Southeastern University in 1999 where he had the distinction of serving as chief resident.  Dr. Strong is board certified in dermatology and strives to further his knowledge through yearly multiple continuing medical education courses in order to offer the latest advances in dermatology.  He is active in educating medical students, interns, and residents.  He also continues lecturing to other medical professionals and is an active member of multiple medical societies.  Dr. Strong is well versed in all cosmetic procedures, such as Botox® and injectable fillers, including Restylane®, Perlane®, Juvederm®, and the various laser procedures, including removal of sunspots, blood vessels, and permanent hair removal.  

John C. Perrotto, DO, FAOCD - Board Certified Dermatologist and Fellowship trained Mohs Surgeon

Dr. Perrotto received his B.A. degree from Union College in 1996, graduated medical school from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2001, and completed his Dermatology residency at Nova Southeastern University in 2008.  Dr. Perrotto completed his American College of MOHS Surgery approved fellowship training in MOHS Micrographic Surgery in 2009.  Dr. Perrotto is board certified in dermatology and strives to further his knowledge through yearly multiple continuing medical education courses in order to offer the latest advances in dermatologic surgery.   

Melissa M. McLelland, ARNP, NP-C

Melissa McLelland is a board certified Nurse Practitioner concentrating exclusively on dermatologic care since 2004.  Mrs. McLelland earned her B.S. degree from the University of Miami and her graduate degree as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner from Florida Atlantic University.  She has developed excellent clinical skills in the detection and treatment of skin cancers, acne, psoriasis, eczema and many other common dermatologic disorders.  Mrs. McLelland is well versed in the various laser procedures, including removal of sunspots, blood vessels, and permanent hair removal.   

Zenia S. Echeverria, PA-C

Zenia Echeverria is a board certified Physician Assistant concentrating exclusively on dermatologic care since 2003.  Ms. Echeverria earned her B.A. degree from Columbia University, and her graduate degree as a Physician Assistant from the Weill College of Cornell University.  She is well versed in all cosmetic procedures, such as Botox® and injectable fillers, including Radiesse®, Restylane®, Perlane®, Juvederm®, and the various laser procedures, including removal of sunspots, blood vessels, and permanent hair removal.  Prior to joining Dermatology Center of Wellington, Ms. Echeverria served as a national instructor for physicians throughout southeast Florida and the Caribbean on injection techniques for facial and hand rejuvenation.   

 Dee M. Tallent, Licensed Medical Aesthetician
